Sue Holliday is a Registered Paediatric and Adult Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in a range of clinical settings across NHS, private and community healthcare settings; currently in practice within the community, undertaking complex care nursing for a private paediatric client. 

Sue has extensive experience in the assessment of need, development, implementation and ongoing oversight of complex community care packages, having worked extensively with Prestige Nursing & Care, a national nurse-led complex care provider.

In her most recent role as Clinical Quality Assurance Manager for Prestige Nursing & Care, Sue was responsible for maintaining clinical governance standards across complex care services. She has vast understanding of the governance policies surrounding complex care, standards of practice, training provision and competency frameworks. She applies this knowledge to her assessment and provision of detailed recommendations for complex, catastrophic agency and directly recruited care packages.

As the National Lead Nurse in Paediatrics and Safeguarding for Prestige Nursing & Care, Sue worked within paediatric complex care assessing quality and safety of complex care within home settings and ensuring compliance with regulatory aspects. Throughout the entirety of the enquiry, initial assessment, risk assessments and ongoing care planning, Sue worked to ensure compliance with safe mobilisation and regulatory frameworks within the care package. She has experience of recommending assistive equipment as part of care planning.

Sue accepts instructions from Claimant and Defendant firms in adult and paediatric cases in complex care claims involving spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, epilepsy, tracheostomy, ventilation and PEG care.
