Lucy accepts instructions to comment assess individuals who have suffered life altering injuries and complications such as orthopaedic injuries, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, psychological sequelae including mental health conditions, functional neurological disorder, needs in any event due to learning disability.
As Registered Manager for a Neurorehabilitation Service, Lucy was responsible for oversight of care for individuals having suffered complex polytrauma, as well as the management of MDTs including nurses, neurologists, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists. She possesses detailed knowledge of changing care and rehabilitation needs over time.

Current practice with Manor Life care provider as a quality assurance consultant, conducting mock CQC inspections, reviewing comprehensive documentation and writing reports based on that evidence as to standards of practice and providing recommendations and coaching for improvement where necessary.
She has a detailed understanding of the standards of nursing practice within a range of clinical and domiciliary settings. She has undertaken hundreds of investigations as to whether nurses upheld their duties in practice pursuant to NMC guidance, NICE guidelines and CQC regulations.
Lucy has worked as a nursing mentor for 20 years, she has experience of supporting and developing nurses new and returning to practice. She has helped develop learning tools, policies and procedures used in community, hospital and social care settings to ensure nurses adherence to clinical standards of practice.
