Naomi Simpson is an Extended Scope Registered Physiotherapist. She accepts instructions for quantum physiotherapy and liability reports. Her specialism lies in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries.

Quantum Physiotherapy

Naomi has worked in the NHS, private practice and elite sports and has developed her expertise in a wide range of areas.

Naomi was a Complex Discharge Manager at Manchester Royal and worked with a wide range of clients. As part of her role, she worked closely with social care and was involved in CHC meetings and safeguarding. She has comprehensive experience in the review of documentary evidence to evaluate rehabilitation potential, the recommendation and assessment of aids, equipment, packages of care.

Naomi maintains active clinical practice and is currently self-employed as the Director of Tameside Physio. Tameside Physio is a recognised physiotherapy provider for established insurance companies; she has a wealth of experience in the clinical assessment of injuries both in clinic and at home, and once assessed, co-ordinating ongoing rehabilitation with liaison with the wider MDT.

Liability

Naomi has a detailed understanding of NICE Guidelines, CSP Proficiencies and HCPC Standards. She has supervised junior therapists and ensured adherence to these guidelines, giving her an in-depth understanding of a reasonable standard of practice.

Naomi has recently completed a masters’ module in Injection Therapies with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine. She can accept liability instructions in relation to intraarticular injections.
