Enquire NowGail is an experienced Occupational Therapist with extensive clinical and management experience working in surgery, medicine, paediatrics and rehabilitation both in acute and community settings. Gail has worked in the NHS and private settings both in the UK and overseas; she has also delivered training and seminars to therapists and solicitors in the UK and abroad. Gail started her work as an expert witness in 2010.
She undertakes quantum reports for Claimants and Defendants. Gail has particular knowledge and expertise in working with adults and children with severe and complex disabilities. Gail also accepts cases in orthopaedics, amputation and disability associated to trauma and pain.
Gail is the Director of Môn-OT Ltd and offers assessment of children and adults with movement and postural difficulties associated to severe and complex disability including CP, ABI and SCI. Recommendations are made for interventions in therapy, equipment provision, postural care, wheelchairs and seating.
Gail has a particular interest in catastrophic injuries resulting in complex disabilities in both adults and children. Her in depth clinical knowledge and experience provides her with the skills to formulate an in-depth assessment in a range of clinical areas. Gail has attended Court to give evidence and takes instructions both in the UK and overseas. In addition to her role as an OT and Expert Witness, Gail provides mentoring to new associates and sits on the clinical board at Fiona Johnson Ltd. Gail has undertaken a Post-Graduate Certificate and completed an MSc. She is currently studying for the WHO ICF Facilitators Course; she maintains her CPD by attending study days both in person and on a remote basis.
