Tanya Moffett is a Registered General Nurse and Registered Mental Health Nurse. She is an adaptable and motivated dual qualified nurse with vast experience in community mental health, hospital forensic services, clinical service management, adult social care and CQC Compliance.

She is currently a self-employed healthcare consultant completing governance audits, progress reports, consultations, development plans and reviews for CQC registered care companies. These include nursing and residential homes, domiciliary care and supported living.

As part of Tanya’s clinical duties she assessed and directed care for patients who were detained under the Mental Health Act and was involved in risk assessments which included HCr 20’s.

With her work as a CQC inspector she has been responsible for ensuring that providers are compliant with the Health and Social Care Act and where there are Breaches of Duty she was able to identify these. She has led on several CQC inspections and produced comprehensive reports and action plans.

She has completed instructions by both claimant and defendant solicitors to review medical negligence cases and to identify any nursing breach of duty.
