Enquire NowDebbie is a HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist, with experience across clinical, academic, leadership, and managerial roles in the NHS and education sectors. Since qualifying in 1985, she has worked across diverse specialities, providing assessment and rehabilitation for children, young people, and adults affected by trauma, disability, illness, and with end-of-life care needs, in hospital and community settings.
She has worked as an NHS Service Manager and has contributed to research, publications, and international lecturing, holding a Master’s in Independent Practice (Health) and achieved exemplary ratings in an NHS Leadership Academy 360° assessment.
She has experience of providing recommendations for care needs in community, private, statutory and third-sector settings, advising on carer to client ratio, care planning and provision, environmental needs, primary carer needs, moving and handling and risk management.
Debbie has experience of litigation case conferences and joint discussions and accepts instructions for loss of service part 35 compliant reports, and advisory reports.
She has been appointed to the Clinical Board and training and mentorship team at Fiona Johnson LTD. Additionally, she supervises a Consultant OT in the special educational needs sector.
