GAIL RUSSELL

Occupational Therapist

Gail is an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with extensive clinical and management experience working in surgery, medicine, paediatrics and rehabilitation both in acute and community settings. Gail has worked in the NHS and private settings both in the UK and overseas; she has also delivered training and seminars to therapists and solicitors in the UK and abroad. Gail has particular knowledge and expertise in working with adults and children with severe and complex disabilities and more specifically, those who require long-term management of their needs including mobility, pressure care and postural care. Gail also accepts cases in orthopaedics, amputation and disability associated to trauma and pain.


Gail is an experienced expert witness having commenced her practice in 2010.  She accepts instructions from Solicitors acting for both Claimants and Defendants in both the UK and overseas.  Gail has undertaken comprehensive legal training and has a solid understanding of her duties to the Court pursuant to CPR Part 35 and understands the competencies required of her. She is very experienced in presenting a clear rationale for her opinion and is robust when presenting verbal evidence in conferences, Joint Discussions and at Court.
